Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable standing for extended periods
- The candidates should be capable of handling physically demanding tasks and possess manual dexterity to perform tasks efficiently
- The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail in their work
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication and be team players, capable of collaborating effectively with colleagues
- The candidates should be reliable in fulfilling their responsibilities and meeting commitments, and dependable in their actions and decisions
- The candidates should be able to multitask efficiently, handling multiple tasks simultaneously, and show initiative in taking on tasks and problem-solving
- The candidates should maintain a positive attitude towards work and challenges
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to keep records of the quantities of food used and portion and wrap foods appropriately
- The candidates should be able to prepare, heat, and finish simple food items according to established recipes and standards, and stock refrigerators and salad bars with necessary items
- The candidates should be able to use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs efficiently, and clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
- The candidates should be able to receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, and wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit as required for meal preparation
