Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have minimum of 5 years’ of relevant experience
Physical Requirements:

- The candidates should have SAP, or a similar ERP system experience
- The candidates should demonstrate an outstanding level of attention to detail

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to oversee the Toronto expense reporting function and support implementation at other sites or offices
- The candidates should be able to assist with month-end close and quarterly financial reporting processes, including financial statement and management discussion and analysis preparation and review
- The candidates should be able to analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries and supporting schedules
- The candidates should be able to review and execute subsidiary cash calls and corporate expense reporting in a timely manner and review the company-wide cash reconciliation process
- The candidates should be able to assist with special projects and ad hoc reporting requests and provide support for expense report preparation and provide training to employees on expense report completion
- The candidates should be able to support the tax function by preparing monthly HST or GST filings for submission to CRA and ensure timely support to site finance teams on an ad-hoc basis
- The candidates should be able to analyze GL accounts for tax return filings and income tax provisions and and working papers to support annual tax return filings and travel, if and as needed, to perform their duties
- The candidates should be able to assist with treasury functions, including the gold sale confirmation process and with internal control documentation as needed by the Manager, Internal Control, and external auditors
