Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and French Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completion of Degree in hospitality management, business and accounting
Experience: Candidates should have experience in accounting and finance
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have experience working in an administrative role within a resort, hotel or construction environment
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have experience or familiarity with systems such as Sage 300, Optimum Control, Profitek and RTP
- The candidates should be strong-headed, organized, analytical and curious
- The candidates should possess efficient communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to handle a variety of situations
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to organize and administer invoices weekly and monthly and track spending to budget on an ongoing basis across multiple business units
- The candidates should be able to review and track financial information for all capital projects and provide updates and Director of F and B with the annual budget and business planning cycle
- The candidates should be able to assist the Director of Resort Operations with the annual budget and business planning cycle and in the reporting functions of the Finance team and provide coverage for other team members
- The candidates should be able to work with departmental Managers to ensure budget targets are being met and that all expenses are being recorded in a timely and accurate manner
- The candidates should be able to actively attend Mountain Operations meetings and ensure all information related to financials is relayed and understood
- The candidates should be able to create ad hoc reports such as COGS analysis, labor performance, item sales, hourly sales, outlet sales and among others
- The candidates should be able to coordinate the inventory process, including the ongoing maintenance of product par levels and order guides, and conduct periodic audits for inventory accuracy and integrity
- The candidates should be able to support F and B management and Finance in implementing and maintaining the internal controls relevant to F and B operations and the costing of Food and Beverage menus while overseeing menu entry and accuracy in the POS system
- The candidates should be able to act as a “super user” of F and B POS and inventory system and provide management training on administrative responsibilities, point of sales system responsibilities, and reporting responsibilities, ensuring the accurate setup of unit’s POS systems
- The candidates should be able to be responsible for the collation and distribution of all F and B tips and gratuities and tactical guidance and support to operating teams to ensure the achievement of contribution targets for the department and various outlets
