Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate the ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
- The candidates should be capable of multitasking, handling stress, and performing well in a highly pressured environment
- The candidates should be willing to be flexible and work different schedules and holidays based on business
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record and exhibit good interpersonal and communication skills
- The candidates should successfully achieve the minimum threshold on mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training
- The candidates should ideally have some knowledge of Federal Express Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations
- The candidates should possess strong time management and organizational skills and excellent customer service skills
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to provide courteous and efficient pick-up and delivery of packages on an assigned route
- The candidate should be able to check all shipments for conformance to Federal Express Canada features of service
- The candidate should be able to perform related customer service functions, including interacting professionally with customers during pick-ups and deliveries
- The candidate should be able to ensure accurate recording and documentation of package pick-ups and deliveries
- The candidate should be able to maintain a neat and organized vehicle, ensuring it is safe for operation
- The candidate should be able to adhere to all company policies and procedures related to package handling, safety, and customer interactions
- The candidate should be able to use handheld scanning devices and other tools necessary for package tracking and delivery confirmatio
- The candidate should be able to report any issues or discrepancies related to packages or deliveries promptly to supervisors or management
- The candidate should be able to maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing Federal Express Canada in a customer-facing role
