Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have strong communication skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods during their shifts and be willing and able to work overnight shifts
Other Requirements:
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to promote resort principles and guest service philosophies effectively
- The candidates should be able to sell accommodations, services, and resort amenities to meet guest and assist with accounting functions to close out the current day’s records accurately
- The candidates should be able to ensure all transactions are posted correctly and balanced at the end of the day and produce audit reports for the Accounting department
- The candidates should be able to verify room charges and receive nightly closeouts and oversee journal entries with precision, follow all emergency procedures
- The candidates should be able to register guests efficiently and pleasantly and maintain accurate guest bills and explain charges
- The candidates should be able to create reservations when the Reservations Department is closed and assist with guest questions and problems promptly
- The candidates should be able to answer the hotel switchboard in a professional and friendly manner and maintain key security and coordinate the distribution of keys effectively
