Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a High School diploma
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 1 year of office experience in a policing or related environment court and criminal law environment

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have previous experience and training related to CPIC, JOIN, and/or ORCA
  • The candidates should possess experience with court documents and must be able to type a minimum of 50 words per minute (WPM)
  • The candidates should demonstrate intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • The candidates should exhibit a high attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment for success in this role
  • The candidates should be strong communicators, who work effectively in a team environment and demonstrate professionalism when dealing with highly sensitive and confidential information
  • The candidates should expect to undergo skill testing as part of the application process and an enhanced security clearance will be conducted
  • The candidates should ensure they can provide proof of qualifications if successful. For education obtained outside the country, they must have or be able to obtain an Education Credential Assessment (ECA) to confirm equivalent credentials

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to analyze, enter, validate, modify, and remove records onto municipal, provincial, and federal computer systems
  • The candidates should be able to disseminate confidential information to facilitate law enforcement activity and complete court updates
  • The candidates should be able to prepare Emergency Protection Orders, Restraining Orders, Court Release documents, Probation Orders, Firearm Prohibition, and Youth Sentences
