Salary: $16.72 hourly for 30 to 50 hours per week

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need any degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Equipment and machinery experience: Farm truck, tractor, tillage equipment, planting equipment, lift truck, hand tools, fertilizer applicator, combine harvester, and automated irrigation system
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions, including wet/damp and hot conditions, and be capable of handling tasks related to the harvest of crops
- The candidates should thrive in a fast-paced work environment and be adept at performing repetitive tasks with precision
- The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads as part of their responsibilities and be physically fit to meet the demands of the job
- The candidates should possess strong hand-eye coordination skills, have the ability to distinguish between colors, and be able to stand for extended periods as required
- The candidates should be capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling as needed and exhibit a high level of attention to detail in their work
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should uphold strong values and ethics in their professional conduct
- The candidates should be organized in managing tasks and priorities effectively
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to engage in cleaning crops, perform grading tasks, and hoe crops
- The candidates should be able to clean work areas, plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, and operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- The candidates should be able to engage in suckering activities
