- The candidates should be 16 years of age or older
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to efficiently pick and assemble orders from various temperature areas with great care and quality in mind to achieve “On Time” delivery to customers
- The candidates should be able to pack orders with attention to detail, including distinguishing between similarly named products, ensuring the exact quantity, and using correct product codes
- The candidates should be able to ensure that products picked are of the highest quality, including no damaged products and selecting the freshest items
- The candidates should be able to correctly document and label all orders by interpreting and understanding documentation, including pick slips, packaging details, and shipping labels
- The candidates should be able to optimize tote fill by packing orders in a space-efficient manner while maintaining product quality standards
- The candidates should be able to balance fulfillment responsibilities with customer interaction, offering service and supporting issues to resolution
- The candidates should be able to ensure strict adherence to safety and food hygiene standards, maintaining a clean and hygienic work area, immediately cleaning up spills and debris, and ensuring all totes are clean and free of debris before packing. They should also operate material handling equipment safely and responsibly, completing all safety pre-inspection checks before use, while exhibiting behaviors that support the organization’s mission and core values
- The candidates should be able to participate in continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting changes related to operational procedures, productivity standards, efficiencies, customer satisfaction, safety, working conditions, and quality standards. They should demonstrate flexibility in completing or adjusting work assignments based on customer requests and meeting daily delivery schedules
