Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate cash registers, operate computerized inventory record-keeping and re-ordering systems, and provide advice about merchandise
- The candidates should be able to assist in the display of merchandise, conduct sales transactions through internet-based electronic commerce, and estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates
- The candidates should be able to greet customers, discuss the type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental, or lease, and maintain sales records for inventory control
