Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Computer and technology knowledge: Internet and Inventory control software

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, pay attention to detail
  • The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel, perform repetitive tasks, stand for extended periods
  • The candidates should be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to accept cash, cheque, credit card or automatic debit payment, operate cash register, operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems
  • The candidates should be able to provide advice about merchandise, perform data entry, provide customer service
  • The candidates should be able to conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce, estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties and delivery dates
  • The candidates should be able to greet customers and discuss type, quality and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental or lease, maintain sales records for inventory control, prepare merchandise for purchase, rental or lease
  • The candidates should be able to store items in warehouse, tool room or supply area, sell spare and replacement parts, prepare requisition orders to replenish parts and supplies
  • The candidates should be able to maintain records on inventory control system, issue and distribute parts and supplies for internal use, receive, unpack and sort incoming parts, supplies and materials
  • The candidates should be able to ship, deliver or pick up parts, products or equipment, prepare and track work orders, handle cash transactions
