Salary: $18.48 hourly for 40 to 60 hours per week
Employment Type: Term or contract Full time
Location: Manotick, ON
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Flexible Hours, To be determined, Early Morning
Work setting: Rural area, staff accommodation available
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English or French Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be familiar with hay farming and other miscellaneous crop farming, comfortable working outdoors and in dusty environments, and experienced with dairy farming and livestock handling
- The candidates should be comfortable working in noisy conditions and able to work in all weather conditions
- The candidates should be able to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment, being physically capable of handling demanding tasks and performing repetitive tasks
- The candidates should have a strong attention to detail, be capable of handling heavy loads, and be comfortable with walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling as necessary
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be flexible, reliable, and a quick learner
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to handle animals, feed and tend animals, and operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- The candidates should be able to milk cows, clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens, and perform general farm duties
