Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have 3+ years of data engineering experience

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
  • The candidates should have experience with AWS technologies such as Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, Firehose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions
  • The candidates should have experience with non-relational databases and data stores, including object storage, document or key-value stores, graph databases, and column-family databases

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to develop and improve the current data architecture, ensuring data quality, monitoring, and availability
  • The candidates should be able to collaborate with Data Scientists to implement advanced analytics algorithms for statistical analysis, prediction, clustering, and machine learning
  • The candidates should be able to partner with Business Analysts across teams to build and verify hypotheses aimed at improving the AWS Support business
  • The candidates should be able to enhance ongoing reporting and analysis processes, making self-service support more accessible for customers
  • The candidates should be able to stay updated with advancements in big data technologies and conduct pilot projects to design scalable data architectures for managing customer experience data on AWS
