Salary: $18.00 to $21.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 35 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Calgary, AB
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Morning

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Area of specialization: Alpha-numeric
Computer and technology knowledge: Presentation software, spreadsheet, MS Access, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, internet, MS Office, and MS Outlook
Technical terminology: Legal

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should thrive in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines with a strong attention to detail

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to receive and register documents for data entry, entering data according to specified formats
  • The candidates should be able to transfer data between software, verifying accuracy and completeness of data
  • The candidates should be able to store, update, and maintain databases, performing backup procedures
  • The candidates should be able to perform general office duties, classify, label, and store diskettes/disks and tapes of data
  • The candidates should be able to create digital records using a scanner and transfer handwritten data to Excel or Word documents
  • The candidates should be able to plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations
