Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and French Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be autonomous and have an aptitude for manual and physical work
- The candidates should be available for variable hours and be rigorous and methodical and work effectively as part of a team and be fast and efficient
- The candidates should be willing to work overtime as needed and have a preference for physical work
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should hold a valid driving license and good basic knowledge of general mechanics and welding
- The candidates should be familiar with the operation of the equipment used and be able to operate it efficiently
- The candidates should be manual, punctual, resourceful, motivated, capable of working alone and in a team, and eager to learn
- The candidates should be fluent in French, with spoken English being and ability to drive a wheel loader and a forklift the employer will provide training for these tasks
- The candidates should have knowledge of and comply with safety rules and tool handling skills and manual dexterity
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to know the basic operations of a quarry, including the crusher, conveyor, dust collector, and sieve
- The candidates should be able to perform basic maintenance on equipment that is the responsibility of the primary operator and ensure the cleanliness of the factory
- The candidates should be able to operate unattended motorized equipment used in the quarry, such as Tanker truck, Backhoe excavator, Mini charger, Dust truck and Others
- The candidates should be able to carry out assigned work with minimal supervision and assist the quarry equipment maintenance mechanic
