Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assess children’s development to prepare a tailored learning plan, engage in storytelling, assist early childhood educators in implementing programs promoting physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development, and guide children in expressing creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity
- The candidates should be able to bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers, assist co-workers in housekeeping and cooking duties, maintain daycare equipment, and prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
- The candidates should be able to lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, taking children to local points of interest, observe children for potential learning or behavioral problems, and prepare and submit written observations for parents, guardians, or supervisors
- The candidates should be able to assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records, encourage children in activities such as crafts, and discuss the progress and problems of children at staff meetings
- The candidates should be able to attend staff meetings to discuss the progress and problems of children
