Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should exhibit punctuality and be dependable
- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and demonstrate flexibility
- The candidates should be reliable team players
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children effectively, while also leading activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest, fostering engagement and curiosity
- The candidates should be able to encourage children to express creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity, providing opportunities for self-expression and exploration, and engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts, maintaining a stimulating and enjoyable environment
- The candidates should be able to guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits, promoting independence and self-care skills, while also observing children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and preparing reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors, facilitating early intervention and support
- The candidates should be able to plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children, ensuring safety and comfort at all times
