Position: Daycare worker

Salary: $29.50 hourly for 35 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Airdrie, AB
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Credentials: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate attention to detail and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking environments
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be punctual, able to exercise good judgement, and a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records and engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts
- The candidates should be able to guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits and prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
- The candidates should be able to submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors and discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings and attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children
- The candidates should be able to plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children
