Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate dependability, possess efficient interpersonal skills, and exhibit excellent oral and written communication
- The candidates should show reliability and function well as team players, while upholding values and ethics
- The candidates should also demonstrate creativity and have the ability to multitask effectively
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
- The candidates should be able to engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts
- The candidates should be able to guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
- The candidates should be able to maintain daycare equipment and assisting in housekeeping and cooking duties
- They should be able to prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods as required
- The candidates should be able to submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors
- The candidates should be able to attend staff meetings to discuss the progress and problems of children is an essential aspect of the role
