Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Credentials: Smart Serve
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages, address customers’ complaints or concerns, and present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings
- The candidates should be able to describe menu items including daily specials for customers, advise on menu selections, and balance cash and record sales
- The candidates should be able to clear and clean tables, trays and chairs, describe and advise on wine selection, and greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages
- The candidates should be able to serve food and beverages, supervise other servers and bussing staff, and take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff
- The candidates should be able to provide customer service
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
