Salary: $27.00 hourly for 40 to 48 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Winnipeg, MB
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Early Morning, Morning

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College/CEGEP
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years 
Credentials: Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles)

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and meet tight deadlines
  • The candidates should be able to work under pressure, be experienced with motor vehicles, and be able to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be organized, reliable, a team player, and demonstrate punctuality

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products; demonstrate professionalism in customer service; and accept payment or invoices for items delivered
  • The candidates should be able to receive and relay information to central dispatch; assemble, install, and set up merchandise/products; and keep a record of items received and delivered
  • The candidates should be able to prepare, package, and restock goods; accept and deliver messages and packages for events, conferences, or assemblies; and load and unload goods
  • The candidates should be able to follow directions, read maps, and use maps and other trip planning aids
  • The candidates should be able to record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems; perform administrative tasks; and provide customer service
  • The candidates should be able to perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of the vehicle; establish delivery schedules; and deliver goods to customers
