Salary: $25.50 hourly for 40 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Flexible Hours, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Vehicle supplied by employer, willing to travel for extended periods, valid driver’s licence
Work setting: Various locations

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, gloves, uniform
Credentials: Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles)

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to thrive under pressure
• The candidates should be willing and able to work overtime as needed
• The candidates should be capable of handling weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs) as required for their job responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products
• The candidates should maintain professionalism in customer service interactions
• The candidates should receive and relay information to central dispatch effectively
• The candidates should assemble, install, and set up merchandise or products as required
• The candidates should transport and handle dangerous goods safely and in compliance with regulations
• The candidates should load and unload goods efficiently
• The candidates should use maps and other trip planning aids to navigate routes effectively
• The candidates should record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any issues encountered
• The candidates should manage payments, including paying for goods and receiving payments from customers
• The candidates should perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and functionality
