Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have the ability to lift up to 70 lbs./32 kg without assistance and 150 lbs. (68kg) with assistance
- The candidates should have availability to work 5 days per week
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be a minimum of 21 years of age (for insurance purposes)
- The candidates should comply with UPS appearance guidelines
- The candidates should have excellent customer contact and driving skills
- The candidates should have valid class 5 driver’s license
Clean Driver’s Abstract respecting the following conditions:
a) No at-fault accidents within the last 3 years
b) No traffic violations within the last 12 months
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to deliver and pick up packages to and from residential and/or commercial properties. This position performs in a physical, fast-paced environment involving driving, continual lifting, lowering, and carrying packages
- The candidates should be able to practice safe transportation methods while traveling to and from destinations. This position ensures the best customer service through efficiency and dedication
- The candidates should be able to learn and properly execute UPS safe driving methods
