Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Credentials: Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles)

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to meet tight deadlines and handle heavy loads (more than 45 kg or 100 lbs)
• The candidates should be able to work effectively under pressure and pay close attention to detail

Other Requirements:

• The candidate should be accurate, organized and be able to work as a team player

Candidate Status:

• Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to receive and relay information to central dispatch and load and unload goods
• The candidates should be able to use maps and other trip planning aids
• The candidates should record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems
• The candidates should be able to accept payment or invoices for items delivered and keep a record of items received and delivered
• The candidates should be able to follow directions and read maps and provide customer service
