Wing Kei Care Centres is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing culturally sensitive care for seniors. With facilities like Wing Kei Crescent Heights and Wing Kei Greenview, they offer a range of services including long-term care, supportive living, and an Adult Day Program. The candidates selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $17.16 hourly for 15 to 37.5 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Own transportation and Public transportation is available

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English, Mandarin or Cantonese Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Credentials: Safe Food Handling certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and should be able to handle heavy loads and should be able to perform physically demanding tasks
• The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and should be able to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should have strong client focus and should possess efficient interpersonal skills and should demonstrate reliability and be a team player

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and set tables and should be able to clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposal units
• The candidates should be able to clear and clean tables, trays and chairs and should be able to load buspans and trays and should be able to operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware
• The candidates should be able to place dishes in storage area and should be able to sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand and should be able to scour pots and pans
• The candidates should be able to clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment and should be able to handle and store cleaning products and should be able to receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas
