Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language and French
Education: Candidates should have Post-Secondary Education (University or College degree) is considered an asset
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in the retail industry with a focus on driving sales

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to travel within the assigned district for meetings and store visits
  • The candidates should have the capability to stand and engage in physical activities during store assessments
  • The candidates should be comfortable with extended periods of driving within the district

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have the ability to build and sustain trusted relationships is a key requirement
  • The candidates should have experience using data and analytics to perform root cause analysis and inform solutions is essential
  • The candidates should have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by being an active listener, are crucial
  • The candidates should have strong business acumen and understanding of retail are necessary attributes
  • The candidates should have experience in coaching and influencing others is expected
  • The candidates should have a field-based position requiring regular travel within your district and mandates that the successful candidate have a valid driver’s license
  • The candidates should have a valid driver’s license upon being hired

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to collaboratively develop and support the execution of customized business plans to achieve financial and operational goals for stores within the assigned district
  • The candidates should have the ability to identify and diagnose opportunities to increase operational performance in-store. They should leverage available data to inform recommendations and develop action plans
  • The candidates should be capable of providing coaching and individual support to Dealers on executing Sales, Merchandising, and Marketing initiatives with a focus on driving store performance
  • The candidates should understand key operational levers that drive store performance and be able to engage cross-functional support where required to action these opportunities
  • The candidates should establish themselves as the central point of contact to support driving in-store performance in stores
  • The candidates should be capable of protecting the Canadian Tire brand through monitoring store standards and customer experience measures
