Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications such as high school, a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma
Experience: Candidates need at least 1 year of experience working, volunteering, or owning dogs
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to walk strong dogs that pull
Other Requirements:
- The candidate must be 18 years of age or older and also must be able to commit to this role for at least 6 months
- The candidate must have a valid police check or be willing to obtain one and also must have access to a reliable vehicle (bikes and buses will not be acceptable)
- The candidate must be located in Cambridge, ON
- The candidate should be reliable and also have exceptional time-management skills
- The candidate should have interpersonal skills in order to communicate with clients and also have great communication skills
- The candidate should have a passion for animals and knowledge of canine behavior
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to drive to each client’s house and take their dog for a walk and also be able to provide basic training to dogs
- The candidate should be able to pick up after dogs during walks
