Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence, Own transportation, Own vehicle
Work setting: Residential/client’s home
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Own tools/equipment: Cellular phone
Credentials: Pet first aid course
Security and safety: Criminal record check, Bondable
Animal specialization: Domestic animals/pets (cats, kittens, puppies, dogs, etc.)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and be physically demanding
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to walk, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
- The candidates should be able to work in outdoors
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be client focus, dependable, flexible, reliable, and judgmental
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to prepare food and feed animals
- The candidates should be able to clean and disinfect cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stall and enclosures
- The candidates should be able to keep records of animals treated
- The candidates should be able to monitor and document animal behaviour
