Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Asset languages: Spanish
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Security and safety: Criminal record check, Vulnerable sector check

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be a repetitive tasker
• The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
• The candidates should be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods

Other Requirements:

• The candidate should be punctual, dependable, organized, flexible, reliable, and judgmental
• The candidates should have values and ethics, excellent oral communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• The candidates should be able to shop for food and household supplies, stock linen closet
• The candidates should be able to vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
• The candidates should be able to pick up debris and empty trash containers, dust furniture
• The candidates should be able to make beds and change sheets
• The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
• The candidates should be able to clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
