Salary: $18.10 hourly for 30 to 42 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Calgary, AB
Work setting: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment. Urban area, Private residence
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Credentials: Housekeeping room attendant certification
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, launder clothing and household linens, and mend clothing and linens
- The candidates should be able to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, shop for food and household supplies, and wash windows, walls, and ceilings
- The candidates should be able to vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, stock the linen closet, and pick up debris and empty trash containers
- The candidates should be able to disinfect operating rooms and other areas, distribute clean towels and toiletries, make beds and change sheets, sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
- The candidates should be able to clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
