Salary: $19.00 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week

Work setting: Work in employer’s/client’s home, Staff accommodation available, Employer’s home

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should have the ability to work independently, perform repetitive tasks, and have attention to detail
• The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel, and handle a combination of sitting, standing, and walking

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should demonstrate punctuality, be dependable, and possess efficient interpersonal skills
• The candidates should exhibit flexibility, show initiative, and demonstrate good judgment
• The candidates should be organized, display reliability, and demonstrate honesty

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, and vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
• The candidates should be able to make beds, change sheets, clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, and pick up debris and empty trash containers
• The candidates should be able to launder clothing and household linens, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and wash windows, walls, and ceilings
