Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language

Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be bondable and legally able to work in Canada
- The candidates should possess a valid passport with the ability to travel to the US for long-haul trips
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have a valid Class 1/AZ License and a clean 5-year commercial driving abstract
- The candidates should have excellent communication and customer service skills and comfortable with smartphone technology
- The candidates should demonstrate reliability, flexibility, punctuality, and safe driving behaviors
- The candidates should be comfortable backing in all manner of tight spaces and locations
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate the vehicle safely and responsibly, adhering to all DOT and company safety regulations
- The candidates should be able to conduct routine inspections prior to departure to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition
- The candidates should be able to manage appropriate cargo documentation and provide necessary paperwork upon the delivery of goods
- The candidates should be able to coordinate the loading and unloading of the truck, verifying cargo and ensuring items are properly stored and secured
- The candidates should be able to maintain contact with the dispatcher to provide status updates, clarify special instructions, and notify about delays or issues during transport
