Salary: $18.00 to $23.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week

Location: Calgary, AB
Shifts: Day, Morning, 07:30 to 16:30
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Area of specialization:Â Truck driving
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Cellular phone and Uniform
Security and safety: Criminal record check and Driving record check (abstract)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to pay attention to detail and work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- The candidates should be able to handle physically demanding tasks and handle heavy loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be focused on clients, efficient in interpersonal skills, and flexible
- The candidates should be able to exercise good judgement, organized, and reliable
- The candidates should be a team player, accurate, and dependable
- The candidates should be excellent in oral communication, able to take initiative, and punctual
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand and operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate professionalism in customer service and accept payment or invoices for items delivered and keep a record of items received and delivered
- The candidates should be able to prepare, package and restock goods and accept and deliver messages and packages for events, conferences or assemblies
- The candidates should be able to load and unload goods and sort packages for delivery and follow directions and read map
- The candidates should be able to use maps and other trip planning aids and record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems
- The candidates should be able to provide customer service and perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
- The candidates should be able to operate forklift
