Salary: $17.00 to $18.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 50 hours per week
Employment Type: Seasonal employment Full time – On the road job

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials: Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should have attention to detail
• The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• The candidates should be able to meet tight deadlines
• The candidates should be able to work under pressure
• The candidates should be able to operate motor vehicles
• The candidates should be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, and operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products
• The candidates should be able to demonstrate professionalism in customer service, accept payment or invoices for items delivered, and keep a record of items received and delivered
• The candidates should be able to load and unload goods, follow directions, read maps, and use maps and other trip planning aids
• The candidates should be able to record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems, and perform administrative tasks
• The candidates should be able to pay and receive payments for goods, provide customer service, and perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspection, overseeing all aspects of the vehicle
