Salary: $29.50 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Security and safety: Basic security clearance

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work in a physically demanding environment, perform repetitive tasks, and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should be flexible, reliable, and able to work effectively as a team player

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints, cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners, and fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife
• The candidates should be able to measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets, position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists, and smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry
• The candidates should be able to tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
