Salary: $27.50 hourly for 30 to 70 hours per week

Location: 16360 River Rd, Richmond, BC V6V 1L6, Canada
Shifts: Overtime

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Credentials: Air Brake (Z) Endorsement and Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)

Other Requirements:

The candidates should be equipped with efficient interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients, as well as demonstrate sound judgment in decision-making situations
The candidates should exhibit reliability in consistently meeting deadlines and fulfilling job responsibilities

Candidate Status:

Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, oversee the condition of the vehicle, and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
The candidates should be able to perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, oversee all aspects of the vehicle, and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
The candidates should be able to tarp and ensure the safety and security of cargo
