Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College/CEGEP
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials: Food allergy and anaphylaxis training, member of the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE), Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and CPR Certificate
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be punctual, dependable, and reliable
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication skills and be flexible
- The candidates should be creative and able to multitask
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assess the children’s development in order to prepare a learning plan tailored to their needs and develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
- The candidates should be able to lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest while encouraging children to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity
- The candidates should be able to guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits, as well as observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors
- The candidates should be able to have knowledge of licensing regulations and plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children
- The candidates should be able to plan and organize activities for school-age children in child-care programs before and after regular school hours
