Salary: $20.00 to $22.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 35 to 40 hours per week

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a College/CEGEP
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Security and safety: Basic security clearance, Criminal record check, Immunization records, and Tuberculosis test
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable with repetitive tasks and physically demanding work
- The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail in their tasks
- The candidates should be able to handle a combination of sitting, standing, and walking as required
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should prioritize punctuality and demonstrate dependability
- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and have excellent oral communication skills
- The candidates should exhibit flexibility in their approach to tasks and exercise good judgment
- The candidates should demonstrate reliability and be a team player
- The candidates should uphold values and ethics
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to develop and implement child-care programs to support children’s holistic development
- The candidates should be able to communicate effectively with parents by synthesizing children’s overall situations
- The candidates should be able to lead various activities, including storytelling, singing, and field trips, to engage children
- The candidates should be able to foster creativity in children through art, play, music, and physical activities
- The candidates should be able to assist children in developing essential habits like eating, dressing, and personal hygiene
- The candidates should be able to observe children for any potential learning or behavioral issues and report to parents or supervisors
- The candidates should be able to participate in staff meetings to discuss children’s progress and address any concerns
- The candidates should be able to build collaborative relationships with colleagues and community service providers
- The candidates should be able to create and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children
- The candidates should be able to plan and organize activities for school-age children before and after regular school hours
- The candidates should be able to supervise and coordinate the activities of other early childhood educators and assistants
