Salary: $29.00 to $33.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time

Shifts: Day, Early Morning
Work setting: Child care centre
Supervision: 5-10 people
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Credentials: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and CPR Certificate
Security and safety: Basic security clearance, criminal record check, medical exam, immunization records, tuberculosis test, and vulnerable sector check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors and be able to work in noisy environments
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate punctuality in their attendance and tasks, exhibit dependability in fulfilling their responsibilities, and display flexibility in adapting to changing circumstances
- The candidates should be reliable in their performance and contributions and be team players, capable of collaborating effectively with colleagues

- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers, and develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
- The candidates should be able to engage in storytelling activities and support early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote children’s development
- The candidates should be able to engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts, and maintain daycare equipment while assisting in housekeeping and cooking duties
