Salary: $19.50 to $20.63 hourly (To be negotiated) for 10 to 37.5 hours per week

Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Student status: Full-time enrollment and Part-time enrollment
Credentials: First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate
Security and safety: Medical exam, Immunization records, Tuberculosis test, and Vulnerable sector check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail and be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel as necessary
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should prioritize punctuality and exhibit dependability, possessing efficient interpersonal skills and demonstrating excellent oral and written communication skills
- The candidates should demonstrate flexibility, interpersonal awareness, and good judgment, while upholding values and ethics, and being reliable team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers, and assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
- The candidates should be able to engage in storytelling, encourage children to express creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity, and engage children in activities such as telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts
- The candidates should be able to guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits, maintain daycare equipment, and assist in housekeeping and cooking duties
- The candidates should be able to assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records, prepare snacks, and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods, and submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors
- The candidates should have knowledge of licensing regulations, establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children, and plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children
