Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as college, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Credentials:Â Member Of The College Of Early Childhood Educators (CECE), Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, And CPR Certificate
Security and safety: Medical Exam, Immunization Records, Tuberculosis Test, And Vulnerable Sector Check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to pay attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be punctual, excellent in oral communication, and excellent in written communication
- The candidates should be flexible, able to exercise good judgement, and a team player
- The candidates should be honest and able to multitask
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers, develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children, and tell stories
- The candidates should be able to assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children, lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest, and encourage children to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity
- The candidates should be able to engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts, guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits, and observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors
- The candidates should be able to discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings, have knowledge of licensing regulations, and attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children
- The candidates should be able to plan and organize activities for school-age children in child-care programs before and after regular school hours
