Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
• The candidates should be able to work under tight deadlines

• The candidates should be able to work as a team player

Candidate Status:

• Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position.

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to install underground wiring and cables, install, replace and repair electrical controls and panel boxes
• The candidates should be able to splice, join and connect wires
• The candidates should be able to test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults integrity of circuits
• The candidates should be able to determine appropriate selection of materials and methods for hazardous locations
• The candidates should be able to troubleshoot and isolate faults , install surface mount and/or overhead cables
• The candidates should be able to renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures and conduct preventive maintenance programs
• The candidates should be able to read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
