Requirements:

Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be a strong team player, as well as able to work independently and be safety-conscious
- The candidates should be able to perform heavy lifting and work well in a team environment
- The candidates should have basic computer abilities, coupled with strong communication skills
- The candidates should be highly motivated and able to work well with minimal supervision
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess an electrician license, good oral and written communication skills and be mechanically inclined
- The candidates should have experience in a manufacturing environment and a full complement of personal or professional hand tools
- The candidates should demonstrate a sense of urgency and attention to detail
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to work with electrical equipment such as AC drives, power control circuits, starters, motors, and MCC’s
- The candidates should be able to work with microprocessor-based systems, including PLC’s, DCS, electronic circuits, and controls
- The candidates should be able to manage low and medium voltage distribution systems, including both single and three-phase systems
- The candidates should be able to work with instrumentation systems such as pneumatic controls, PID, transducers, servos, and analog or digital signals
- The candidates should be able to work with power distribution and generation systems, including generators, transformers, switchgears, and breakers
- The candidates should be able to work with communication and data systems, including closed circuit TV, timekeeping systems, and phone or computer networks
- The candidates should be able to handle HVAC and emergency systems, including refrigeration, energy control, and alarm systems, as well as hydraulic systems
- The candidates should be able to conduct planned preventive and predictive maintenance and maintain accurate maintenance records and recommend and implement corrective actions and repairs
- The candidates should be able to assist in planning and organizing work activities, including interpreting drawings, blueprints, and schematics, and preparing parts
- The candidates should be able to install new conduits, lighting fixtures, wiring, receptacles, and other electrical components, and examine or replace old fixtures and check continuity, resistance, current, or voltage of circuits for troubleshooting purposes
