Shift 1: Sunday – Thursday 10pm – 6am
Shift 2: Friday – Sunday 6pm – 6am
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should currently possess a valid 309A Construction Electrician Red Seal license OR a 442A Industrial Electrician Red Seal
Experience: Candidates should have have experience of operational processes/packaging equipment in the Food and Beverage industry
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have possession of a secondary trade license
- The candidates should hold a Certificate of Apprenticeship
- The candidates should have motivation, a positive attitude, high energy, and initiative, along with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- The candidates should demonstrate a drive for improvement
- The candidates should have knowledge of PLC and control systems
- The candidates should possess communication and computer skills
- The candidates should be knowledgeable and experienced in using computerized maintenance management systems for submitting work requests, closing work orders, logging hours, and logging spare parts usage
- The candidates should be capable of working shift work
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to maintain site equipment
- The candidates should be able to complete preventive and predictive maintenance inspections and electrical repairs for all equipment within the area of responsibility
- The candidates should be able to manage through emergency breakdowns
- The candidates should be able to support in root cause analysis and prevention of future downtime events
- The candidates should be able to effectively communicate for shift crossovers, work order feedback, production meetings, and activity coordination between other shifts
- The candidates should be able to work collaboratively with operators and other classifications across the site to reduce downtime, safety, and quality risks
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate above-average troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve issues on high-speed production lines and in a high automation, fast-paced environment
- The candidates should be able to execute daily assigned work
