Salary: $18.50 hourly for 36 to 44 hours per week
Employment Type: Seasonal employment Full time
Location: Copetown, ON
Shifts: Weekend, Early Morning
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
- The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks, handle heavy loads, and manage physically demanding duties
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination
- The candidates should be able to distinguish between colours, work in a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and perform bending, crouching, and kneeling tasks
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be dependable, have efficient interpersonal skills, and be flexible
- The candidates should be organized and reliable
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to weed, prune and trim trees and plants, cut grass, and rake and collect refuse
- The candidates should be able to remove litter and garbage, cart and spread topsoil and other materials, and lay sod or seed
- The candidates should be able to plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees, apply fertilizers, and water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens
- The candidates should be able to operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
