Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Own tools/equipment:Â Steel-toed safety boots
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to have 20/20 vision, demonstrate attention to detail, and bend, crouch, and kneel
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate hand-eye coordination, and have manual dexterity
- The candidates should be able to work in a physically demanding environment, stand for extended periods, and handle weight
- The candidates should be able to handle more than 45 kg (100 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be flexibility, judgement, and reliability
- The candidates should be team player
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to add or replace hydraulic and transmission fluids, assist mechanics and perform other duties as directed, and change engine oil and lubricate running gears or moving parts of automobiles, trucks or heavy equipment
- The candidates should be able to grease booms, pulleys, buckets and other components of heavy equipment, install replacement mufflers, exhaust pipes, shock absorbers or radiators, and provide on-site services
- The candidates should be able to repair and balance tires, and replace oil, air and fuel filters on motor vehicles, trucks and heavy equipment
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
