Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year

Candidate Status:

Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to establish and implement operational procedures for the housekeeping department, select and purchase equipment and supplies, and plan and coordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews
The candidates should be able to coordinate inspection of assigned areas, coordinate contract services, and ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met
The candidates should be able to conduct performance evaluations and appraisals, maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms, and supervise in-house laundry services
The candidates should be able to schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff, ensure that local health and sanitation regulations are carried out, and respond to complaints of guests
