Abzac Canada based in Drummondville, QC is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Factory Worker – manufacturing. Abzac Canada is one of the leading producers of cardboard tubes, cardboard cores and corner boards in Europe and in North America, as well as fibre drums since 1928. We are now a privately-owned group with a wide global reach, headquartered near Bordeaux in an 18th century mill. Our objective is to assist our industrial customers with their developments by providing specific, 100%-sustainable solutions meeting their requirements. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Job Description:

Salary: $17.14 hourly for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Full time, Permanent employment
Location: Drummondville, QC
Shifts: To be determined
Work site environment: Candidates should work in noisy place
Weight handling: More than 45 kg (100 lbs)

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications such as a high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate or a diploma
Experience: Candidates need experience of 1 to less than 7 months

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidate should be able to work in fast-paced environment, perform repetitive tasks, handle heavy loads and also stand for extended periods
  • The candidate should be physically strong

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be dependable and reliable
  • The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate should be able to assist machine operators, assemblers and other workers, perform other labouring and elemental activities and also clean machines and immediate work areas
  • The candidate should be able to transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout plant manually or using powered equipment, check and weigh materials and products and also sort, pack, crate and package materials and products
