Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Area of specialization: Elderly

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling as part of their job requirements, and able to handle a combination of sitting, standing, and walking during their workday
  • The candidates should thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage tasks efficiently, be capable of handling heavy loads safely and effectively, and be physically capable of performing demanding tasks
  • The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks consistently and accurately, comfortable sitting as part of their job duties, and able to stand for extended periods without discomfort
  • The candidates should be capable of walking as required by the job and able to work effectively under pressure

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to administer bedside and personal care, administer medications, and assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • The candidates should be able to assist in regular exercise, e.g., walking, assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of the householder, and feed or assist in feeding
  • The candidates should be able to launder clothing and household linens, provide companionship, and provide personal care
  • The candidates should be able to shop for food and household supplies, and prepare and serve nutritious meals
