D S based in Moose Jaw, SK is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Family caregiver. D S , is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by Dravet Syndrome. They provide educational resources, advocacy, and funding for research aimed at finding better treatments and ultimately a cure for this rare and severe form of epilepsy. Through community outreach and collaboration with medical professionals, the foundation strives to improve the quality of life for those living with Dravet Syndrome and raise awareness about this challenging condition. The candidates selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be non-smokers and willing to work overtime when required
- The candidates should be able to perform tasks requiring bending, crouching, and kneeling, and adapt to a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be able to efficiently manage repetitive tasks and sit for extended periods if necessary
- The candidates should be able to walk as part of their job responsibilities
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should prioritize punctuality in their work schedule and exhibit dependability in their work
- The candidates should demonstrate a client-focused approach and possess efficient interpersonal skills
- The candidates should communicate excellently orally and display flexibility in their work approach

- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to administer medications and assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
- The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of the householder and launder clothing and household linens
- The candidates should be able to provide companionship, personal care, and prepare and serve nutritious meals
