Gordon Harkies based in Vancouver, BC is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Family caregiver. Gordon Harkies is a well-known individual who is renowned for offering outstanding services to the staff. We provide all of our staff with basic amenities and care; we are a house of collaboration. Our facilities and services are intended to assist staff members in regaining and maintaining a certain degree of independence. The candidates selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $23.00 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week

Location: Vancouver, BC
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to handle physically demanding tasks
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be reliable
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, feed or assist in feeding, and launder clothing and household linens
- The candidates should be able to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, provide companionship, and offer personal care
- The candidates should be able to shop for food and household supplies and prepare and serve nutritious meals
